The Interactive Whiteboard is a powerful tool that can benefit the teacher, students, and class environment. It is an incredible device that seems to transform the usual classroom into a modern learning environment that students are intrigued in. The possibility for application of interactive whiteboards into the classroom is endless allowing the teacher to integrate various aspects of technology seemlessly in to the learning environment. The teacher never even has to leave the board and travel to the computer. The disadvantages focus a lot on the setup and cost to determine whether wide spread implementation is possible. I suppose that only time and research will be able to give us an accurate reading on weather or not interactive whiteboard are a wise investment for our students education.
